Hi everyone!  Planning is on-going for our reunion in Colonial Williamsburg, VA, October 5-6, 2018.  FYI, the recently completed series, TURN:  Washington’s Spies, was filmed here.  We will be staying at the Woodlands Hotel and Suites, steps away from the Visitor’s Center, and have reserved a lovely hospitality suite on the first floor, a reception room for our Friday night’s Welcome Reception and a beautiful ballroom for Saturday night’s Dinner-Dance.

We have blocked 75 rooms for our group at the rate of $138/night + applicable taxes (currently 11% + a $2.00 room occupancy tax).  You may extend your stay up to three (3) days before/after at this rate.  Three airports service the Williamsburg, VA area, depending on your point of departure:  Richmond International Airport (RIC) and Norfolk International Airport (ORF) are approximately 45 minutes from Colonial Williamsburg, and Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport (PHF) is approximately 20 minutes from Colonial Williamsburg.  All have taxi, bus, Uber and Lyft ground transportation.  Amtrak provides rail service to Williamsburg, VA (WBG) and is four blocks away from Colonial Williamsburg.  The station is located at 468 Boundary St., Williamsburg, VA 23185, 1 800-872-7245 and offers local taxi and bus service.

Attached is a reservation form.  Please complete it and return to me no later than August 1, 2018, sooner if possible.  The form will also be available, along with other OHS Williamsburg Reunion news, on Dave Thatcher’s OHS web site:  http://www.orleansamericanhighschool.com.  There will be ongoing conversations about the reunion on the OHS Facebook page.  Names of attendees won’t be added to the list on the web site until the registration form and check are received.

The registration fee of $135.00 per person is non-refundable.  This covers our dinner/dance and other costs associated with the hospitality suite, name tags, and other incidentals.  Please make your check payable to Virginia A Rogers and mail it to her at 5423 Inverchapel Road, Springfield, VA 22151.  She has set up a separate bank account with a local bank, Sandy Spring, for reunion fees and payments of costs.  Should any funds remain after the reunion, they will be added to the OHS reunion account.
